How to Unlock the Vault Door in Toll House in Baldur’s Gate 3
To unlock and open the Vault Door inside the Toll House players will need the key known as Toll Collector’s Key in Baldur’s Gate 3. It is not a very hard find in the game. All you have to do is use Speak with Dead spell on the dead bodies littered around the structure. One of the Toll Collectors will reveal to you that he fell and dropped the key somewhere near. To make things easy, you can take the path south where you meet Karlach in BG3. One of the dead Toll Collectors near the cliff will reveal the information. You can then keep heading south, here we recommend you press ALT to keep a tab on things in your surrounding. Players will come across the Toll Collector’s Key somewhere nearby.
Once you get your hands on the key, you can head back to the Vault Door inside the Tollhouse to open it in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can then interact with the door to open it with the key. Although, players will have to be careful as the room has many hidden traps. We recommend you have characters with high perception stat to pass the check inside. Once you open the vault door and pass the check inside, it will reveal the traps which you can then disarm in Baldur’s Gate 3. Players will have to then progress further to a room with two thrones at two corners. There is a hidden chamber that has a secret entrance through the walls.
Here, you will have to ungroup your party members and interact with each of the thrones in the game. Once two of your companions sit on the two thrones accordingly, the secret entrance would then be opened. After which you can head inside and loot the room of its hidden treasure. You will come across a Greataxe & Gloves of Heroism in Baldur’s Gate 3.
