Berries in Valheim can be found in the wild in all biomes. There are three different types of berries in the early access version of the game. So if you are planning to add berries to the farm then read on to know whether you can plant, grow and farm berries in Valheim.
Can you Plant, Grow and Farm Berries in Valheim?
Unfortunately, there is no way to plant berries on your farm. You can only find and collect Berries from the wild. Even if you have a cultivator to till the soil and plant seeds, it’s not possible to use berry seeds to farm berries. We hope this will feature will be added in a future update. The Cultivator can be used to convert the regular dirt and grassland into a farming friendly land. Once you have obtained the Cultivator, you will be able to plant seeds and start farming all carrots, turnips, and even tree seeds.
How to Get More Berries?
To get more berries in Valheim, you need to build a base near berry patches you come across the map. You can even build a portal near these areas for a quick refill. Or next best method is to ping and mark locations in your map once you come across them. We recommend collecting all edible items in the biomes when you come across them.
The berries can be used to get more health or fill you up when you are hungry. Right now you can eat three different types of berries in Valheim. They are:
- Blueberry
- Cloudberry
- Raspberry
