Diablo 4 developers Blizzard has banned the use of the mod TurboHUD 4. While it did improve the quality of gameplay in Diablo 3, the developers were not really in favor of it even back then. However, for some reason, they did not remove the mod in Diablo 3. Soon after TurboHUD 4 was announced for the game (Reddit), Blizzard released a notice regarding the unauthorized mod software, and players who might have hoped to use it might be in for some disappointment.
“We are committed to keeping the world of Sanctuary a safe and fair place for all players, and our Game Security team constantly monitors for cheats and unauthorized modifications.” TurboHUD 4 or THUD4 violates the Blizzard EULA that every Diablo IV player signs at the beginning of the game.
Diablo 4 Players will get Permanent Ban for Using TurboHUD 4
In Blizzard’s Notice, they clearly mentioned “With that in mind, we want to make it clear that TurboHUD4, like any game-modifying software, is prohibited for use with Diablo IV. Players who install this kind of software will put their accounts at risk for disciplinary action, which can include permanent suspension.” While a small punishment might also be handed out at the start, Diablo 4 players using the TurboHUD 4 mod are ultimately heading towards a permanent ban on their accounts.
THUD4 provides numerous features that fans have been expecting from Blizzard for Diablo 4 so some players might choose to risk the ban and try out the software. After the New Content in Season 1 along with the nerfs and buffs, many Diablo players are ready to risk the ban and get some additional features.
