Watch Dogs: Legion is here and you can finally go on an exciting journey throughout the game. But one thing you may be wondering is how to save in Watch Dogs Legion? After all, you don’t want your progress to get lost while you are stealthily completing your missions. How do you load your progress in this game especially with the permadeath mode enabled? Find out everything you need to know in our guide on how to save in Watch Dogs: Legion.
Watch Dogs Legion: How To Save The Game Progress
You don’t have to save manually because the developers have added an auto-save feature which constantly works in the background. With permadeath enabled or disabled, this feature remains the same. It will auto save at multiple moments including checkpoints when you complete a mission, fast travel etc. You will see the autosave icon which will give you the reassurance. This is where you can pause and quit the game in order to load up the game from the same point later.
With no manual saves, this also means you cannot load a particular save in case you do something that you want to revert. In case the game crashes, don’t worry because the game will save extremely close to the bit of the game you were previously playing.
To make your life a bit easier, you are given three save slots which you can use for different playthroughs of the game. This will help you out if you want to try out permadeath after you are done with a playthrough without it. Note that these can be connected with the cloud using Ubisoft Connect with a Ubisoft account which means that you can play without worries.
