How to Get the Lucid Rod in Fisch

Published Date :

The Lucid Rod in Fisch is a mid-to-high tier fishing rod sought after for its unique passives. While its base numbers may not be the best, you might want to use this rod for rare catches, and mutations. Here’s what you need to do to obtain it.

How to Get the Lucid Rod in Fisch

To get the Lucid Rod you’ll need to meet a few requirements:

  • Reach the level threshold required for this tier of rod which is 50.
  • Collect specific crafting materials like x1 Lunar Thread, x1 Lucid Reel and x1 Cursed Touch Scrap Metal.
  • Plus, you also need 80,000C$

Once you have the required materials and funds, craft the rod at the Crafting Anvil in the Ancient Archives.

Lucid Rod stats

Here are the important base stats and mechanics you should know:

  • Lure Speed: 80% (Moderate rate of pull-in time (not the fastest rod)
  • Luck: 100% (Sufficient level to boost rare catches and mutations)
  • Control: -0.05 (Slightly negative control value, meaning the rod is harder to handle than some simpler rods, so expect more challenge while reeling)
  • Resilience: 45%
  • Max Kg: 500,000kg
    • Offers a decent weight limit and durability to handle larger fish, though not quite at the very top tier.

Passive Ability: The most important feature is a chance to trigger the “Lucid” mutation on a caught fish, which provides an 8.5x value boost. This passive gives a 20% chance to apply the Lucid mutation, and it may also dupe the fish caught. There’s more – it gives you +10% progress speed.

Plus, there are boosts based on certain conditions. During Clear weather, you get a 30% Lucid chance and gives you an extra dupe fish.

So, if you’re going to use this rod, it’s best to plan sessions when the in-game condition is “clear”.

Prepare for trickier control. Because the control stat is slightly negative and the rod has extra effect mechanics, your reeling may feel tougher, so you might need an enchantment to help with this stat.

Make sure to use it when you’re targeting the rarer fish or when you’re looking for mutations. For normal fishing, it’s best to use a rod with higher control.

That’s everything about the Lucid Rod in Fisch. To know more about other Fisch rods such as the Eidonlon, check out our guides on Gamer Tweak.
