How to Find and Get Hyrule Bass in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Get Hyrule Bass In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The primary location to hunt for the Hyrule Bass in TOTK is Bottomless Pond (0426, -0677, 0062). As the name suggests, fish is easily hunted in the Hyrule region, as the Bottomless Pond is located in the Hyrule Field. Though chances are less, you can also catch them from Squabble River flowing from West Necluda, Yambi Lake in Tuft Mountain region, and Pico Pond below Pico Pond Cave.

There are three ways to catch Hyrule Bass in the Tears of the Kingdom: grab them with hands, kill them with explosive items, or shoot them with arrows. Shooting is safe but time-consuming, plus you must have excellent aim, so this is not feasible for all. Catching them by hand might be easy if you are fast, but it will also affect your health if you spend more time in the water, due to which even this is not very workable.

This leaves us with the last method, blasting and killing them, which we can combine with shooting for better effect. Before we begin, we will first need explosive items like Bomb Flower. If you have that, follow the below steps for catching Hyrule Bass in TOTK, but if you don’t, follow the link and farm them.

  • Stand at the shore of the Pond and use a bow and arrow to shoot explosives or shock items anywhere you can easily swim.
  • Within a few seconds, Hyrule Bass will start floating on the water.
  • Swim there and add them to your inventory.

This is all you need to know to find and catch Hyrule Bass in Zelda TOTK. If you caught them using our method, then check out our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom guides.
