Phasmophobia: Can You Play With More Than 4 Players? (Answered)

Updated Date :

If you are a horror game fan and a fan of online co-op multiplayer, Phasmophobia is the game for you. You can step into the shoes of ghost investigators and use the information in your journal to gather evidence. You can talk to ghosts directly or by using equipment like Spirit Box and Ouija Board. Yes, there is voice recognition that will make your horror experience truly terrifying. At the time of writing, the game is in early access and has a 4 player co-op mode. But sometimes even more friends might want to join the fun together so can you play with more than 4 players in Phasmophobia?

As of now, no, having more than 4 players in the game is not possible. If this is happening in any games that you have played where you are seeing eight or ten players, it is most likely a hack or a bug. Because it is completely unintentional to have more than 4 players right now. There is no official or unofficial mod for it as well.

Are the developers planning to have more than 4 players in the final launched game? It is not yet known. But we sure hope that more people can join in because it will definitely increase the spook factor. It will be fun to see ghosts get angrier if they see so many annoying humans trying to disturb their haunting schedule.

For now, check out our guides on how to use the crucifix, light and use smudge sticks, how to get dirty water in the sink and more in Phasmophobia.
