Nintendo has really gone all out in Animal Crossing New Horizons by adding over 400 villagers in the game. While this will ensure that players might never get bored of playing the game, there is a catch. You can’t have too many villagers living on your island at the same time. Wondering how many villagers can live on your ACNH island? In this guide, you will know the answer.
How Many Islanders Can You Have In ACNH?
As of now, there is a limit to the number of islanders that you can have. The max number of villagers that can live on your island at once is 10. It’s important to note that this count excludes the characters of players.
While reaching the max number of villagers on your island is not compulsory, you can do it if you want to reach a 5 star island rating. Having ten villagers on your island will mean that you need to plan your island layout beforehand. This will help you have a well-organized island.
For those who wish to increase the number of villagers on your ACNH island to more than ten, currently it is not possible. Let’s see if Nintendo decides to ramp up the island villager count in the future, but for now, the limit is ten.
