Elden Ring features various kinds of locations throughout the expansive open world of the Lands Between. If you want to get to the Altus Plateau, you can use the Grand Lift of Dectus. It is one of the ways to access the Altus Plateau region. But since both the locations are late-game areas, finding and accessing them can be a bit of a hassle. While reaching Altus is a lot easier after activating the Lift, the majority of players are unable to find the location. How to Get to Grand Lift of Dectus in Elden Ring (Location)
The Grand Lift of Dectus is located at the end of the Bellum Highway to the extreme north of Liurnia of the Lakes. You can find this location towards the eastern landmasses of Liurnia. As you head there, keep on traveling North through the Bellum Highway. Yow will find the Grand Lift of Dectus between the Liurnia of the Lakes and the Altus Plateau. If you are visiting the Lift for the first time, you have to activate and unlock it. You can unlock the Grand Lift of Dectus with the Dectus Medallion which is formed by two halves of itself. These halves are the Left Dectus Medallion and the Right Dectus Medallion. You can activate the Grand Lift of Dectus once you have both halves of the Dectus Medallion. You must head to the platform to hoist the complete Medallion and raise the Lift. After raising the lift, this location will take you to the secret Altus Plateau.
You can find the Dectus Medallion right at the Fort Faroth located in the Dragonbarrow to the northeast of Caelid. While for the Dectus Medallion left, you need to travel to Fort Haight to the southwest of Limgrave.
