You can fly from one planet to another by unlocking items like the Mecha Sail. So, first you have to focus on unlocking a Mecha Sail by upgrading the Drive Engine to Lv2. Here’s what you need for that:
- 200 Electromagnetic Matrices
- 200 Energy Matrices
Before that you need Drive Engine Lv1 which needs 150 Coal and 60 Magnetic Coil. This will give you the ability to fly.
To get Electromagnetic Matrices, you can combine a Circuit Board and a Magnetic Coil. But for Energy Matrices, you have to craft them. For that, you need to first get the Energy Matrix upgrade on the tech tree. You will need 200 Electromagnetic Matrices for this.
How to Craft Energy Matrix
You will need 2 Graphite and 2 Hydrogen to craft Energy Matrix. Use the X-ray Cracking to help you in this case and also craft and stack Matrix Labs if you want it sooner.
Also note that you have to unlock the Universe Exploration upgrade which will let you check out the resource nodes on another planet which will be very beneficial. You can get this upgrade with 10 Electromagnetic Matrices.
