- You can stop the Castle Heart from decaying by inserting the Blood Essence into the Blood Press.
- Go closer and interact with the Castle Heart by pressing the F key.
- Now, insert the Blood Essence into the Castle Heart to stop the decay.
- You can gather and stack up the Blood Essence by slaying the creatures, humans, servants, V bosses, or any other enemies.

- The more you extract or suck their blood, the more Blood Essence you will receive.
- While the decaying happens, it does not destroys the castle right away.
- You will be notified of your Castle heart decaying to the right of your screen.
- To prevent this from happening, you need to insert some Blood essence to keep the Castle pumping.
One of the other methods to prolong the decay is upgrading the castle. You can upgrade your castle with 12 Copper Ingot and 12 Leather. As you upgrade, you will have to insert more Blood Essence into the Castle Heart. This will result in an increased functioning of the Castle and prolong the decaying of the Castle Heart.
