Wouldn’t it be nice to have the locations of all weapons in Sons of The Forest in one place? Well, we aim to do just that with this guide. There are loads of items in The Forest’s sequel, and while some of them are non-essential, the others hold a lot of importance. Special thanks to Steam user Wholf of the Forest, we have been able to give you the exact location of all important weapons in this guide. Stay tuned to find out.
Location of All Weapons in Sons of The Forest
Before we get started, this list has the complete location of all weapons in Sons of The Forest. So, make sure you check the images and videos attached below each weapon to know its spawn location. Without any further ado, let’s get started:
1. The Zipline Gun
The Zipline gun can be found towards the north side of the Helicopter crash site on the beach. Just enter the first cave that you see which is close to two tents with a tiny pond facing it.
2. Shovel Weapon Location in Sons of The Forest
To get the Shovel, you will need the Zipline hook and also the Rebreather as you will have to go underwater. If you keep exploring the cave inside, you will get the Shovel. It is one of the most important items in the game as it will help you find other items as we move ahead with the list. 3. Revolver
As soon as you head to the Point of Interest located on your GPS, just dig with your shovel and you will find a hatch door named “Maintenance A”. Unlock the door and you will find the revolver lying inside.

4. Modern Axe
To find the Modern Axe, you will have to head to the exact location mentioned above. You will find the axe lying inside a tent close to a dead body. It is surely one of the best axes in Sons of The Forest.
5. Firefighter Axe
Once you obtain the shovel, you will be able to enter the “Maintenance A” hatch. Keep following the tunnel inside and you will get the Firefighter Axe.
6. Slingshot
At the north side of the crash landing location in Sons of The Forest, you will find a cave. Just outside it, you will find three bodies. You will find the Slingshot from one of these bodies as loot.
7. The Compound Bow
You will again need a shovel here as you will have to enter the “Maintenance B” hatch this time. You will find the Compound Bow next to a floating dead body inside.
8. The Stun Baton
The Stun Baton can be found close to a waterfall. A skull is attached to the head of the baton. Go close and interact with it to pick the Stun Baton.
9. The Machete
You will have to head to the Northeast corner of this beach in the image shown above. Here, you will find several lifeboats. One of them will have the Machete stuck on its side.
10. Shotgun Weapon Spawn Location in Sons of The Forest
To find the most powerful weapon in the game, you will have to head to the purple marker on your map. The Shotgun is buried in a shallow grave marked by a cross. Use your Shovel to dig out the Shotgun and you will also find a GPS indicator buried alongside it.
11. Crossbow
Once you get the Keycard, you will be able to unlock the room that contains the Crossbow. Just head to the location marked on the map above to get the Crossbow.
12. The Katana and Putter
You will be able to get the Katana and the Putter towards the end of the game. This is because you will require the Maintenance Keycard. Both of these weapons are found in the Maintenance Bunker itself. You can find the bunker on the southeast side of the map. Check the image above to know the exact location to get the Katana and Putter.
13. The Chainsaw
Lastly, for the Chainsaw, you will need the Maintenance and VIP Keycards. You will only be able to access the room that holds the weapon with these two items. Check our step-by-step guide on how to get the Chainsaw.
