How to Get the Machete in Sons of the Forest (Location)
You can find the Machete on the northernmost beach from the center, in the game. To be precise, you will find it on one of the red lifeboats on the beach here. While there is a low chance that you will miss it, here is what you need to do:
- Go to the location on the map shown below.

- You will find several lifeboats here.
- Look around them for the items that you can collect.
- One such lifeboat will have a Machete stuck on its side.
- Press E to grab it and you will get the Machete.

Once you get the Machete, you can replace it with your Tactical Axe or the combat Knife. This weapon is better and more useful than both. Not only can you kill the enemies faster in fewer hits. Cutting Trees also takes less time when using the Machete. So it is easily the best knife in the game right now. But this is because the only other knife is the combat knife.
