As you proceed in the game, you will start collecting Tech Points, which you can use to unlock gadgets and upgrade tools for your team. Make sure to have all the necessary tools for your team as the game will become harder after completing a couple of missions.

What you need to do first is to press the touchpad on PS4 or the View button on Xbox One to open the many, then open the Tech tab. This is a place where you can buy weapons or gadgets in exchange for Tech points you have accumulated.

Now, go to the Team Tab and select the operative whose loadout you want to edit. You will see all the items that they have recently equipped in the bottom right corner of your screen. Each operative has three slots — one for gadgets and two for weapons.

This means that you can have only one gadget for each operative, so you will want to change them out depending on the mission you are tracking. Notably, you can’t change your equipment only when you are in combat, in a restricted area or when the police are looking for you.
