The Kraken in Fisch is not just an Exotic fish to catch but also provides bragging rights due to its massive -85% progress speed decrease. As its name suggests, it can be found in the Kraken Pool—here’s everything you need to know about catching this beast, including its Ancient version.
How to Catch Kraken in Fisch
Here are the prerequisites to do before you can get a Kraken in the game:
- Complete trials and finish 4 Clock Wheel puzzles.
- Dive into the water from the main Atlantis area and finish the last Clock puzzle to swim into the Kraken Pool.
- This is where you need to start fishing during night, and any weather or season during the Kraken hunt event to catch the Exotic Kraken. The best bait for this purpose is the Truffle Worm or Deep Coral.
- Note that when you jook it, a -85% progress speed decrease is inflicted, so choose a dependable rod that will help you complete it successfully—choose the Rod of the Depths, No Life Rod, Kings Rod, Abyssal Specter Rod, Heaven’s Rod (for its Resilience) or any good craftable rod that works for you.
- In case you’ve hooked an Ancient Kraken, the -85% changes to -95% making the minigame even tougher. It’s going to take a lot of time and effort so be prepared.
- If you have a Sundial totem, you can use it to spawn the Kraken. When it does, the pool changes color so you can fish anywhere in that region. However, remember that only one person can catch it (similar to the Megalodon) so if you have a private server, you won’t have to compete with other players.
That’s everything you need to know to catch the Kraken in Fisch. When you do, you’ll see a cutscene and you’re all done! On average, it will sell for around 15KC$ and you will receive around 10K base XP when you catch it.
