Fisch’s Northern Expedition update is here and players can now get access to 6 new rods, including the Heavens Rod. This is a massive expansion that adds new bestiaries with 36 new fish to catch, new Limited Rod skins, 4 new mutations, and more. We’ll be covering all about the update, however, in this guide, take a look at how to get the Heavens Rod and its base stats. There’s a long process to get it because it requires you to visit 5 islands to press buttons and some more locations to collect Energy Crystals. Moreover, you need at least C$2,150,000 to finally purchase the rod.
How to Get Heavens Rod in Fisch
To obtain the Heavens Rod, you need to press buttons at various locations. Here are the spots you need to visit and press and hold E at:
- Behind the Leaderboard in Moosewood.
- In the tower in Forsaken Shores.
- Near Wilson in Upper Snowcap in Snowcap Island.
- Behind a log at the campfire in Roslit Bay.
- Near the Stone Rod at the unfinished lighthouse in Ancient Isle.
Note that all of these locations should be accessed in a single gameplay session. If you switch servers or you lose your internet connection to your current server, you will have to start over again.
Button Location 1 – Moosewood
The Moosewood location is the easiest button to access. Go to the leaderboard and look behind it.
Button Location 2 – Roslit Bay
Next, you can make your way to Roslit Bay on your boat. When you get down at the pier, walk ahead and zoom out the camera until you see a campfire in the distance. Check the logs next to it and the second button should turn green.
Button Location 3 – Forsaken Shores
In Forsaken Shores, there’s a cannon near the pier, and next to it, there’s a watchtower. Climb the ladder and the third button is located right there.
Button Location 4 – Snowcap Island
To access this button, head to Upper Snowcap by climbing the mountain and looking for the NPC named Wilson. If you’ve completed the quest of finding his lost rod, you will know where to find him. Turn your camera to show his back, and you will spot the next button to press.
Button Location 5 – Ancient Isle
Look for an unfinished Lighthouse on an island away from the main island. It’s located at the GPS coordinates: X: 5502.1, Y: 146.7, Z: -315.9. This is also where the Stone Rod can be purchased and the button is right next to it.
Where to Find the Heavens Rod (Location)
The Heavens Rod is located in the Northern Summit area (located within the portal) after you complete the Glacial Grotto puzzle (XYZ: 19986.6, 1042.2, 5742.7). For this, you’re required to get 4 Energy Crystals of different colors and put them in their slots. When you do this, glide into the Cryogenic Canal opening (XYZ: 20130, 670, 5486), use the rope to go down, and find the rod which can be purchased for a whopping 1.7M C$. If you have this much in-game money, you can consider buying this rod because it’s considered to be one of the best due to its good stats.
While it lacks in Lure Speed, adding an enchantment such as Hasty, or Swift can speed things up for you. You can further boost the lure speed by using Rapid Catcher bait.

How to Get All Crystals (Locations and GPS coordinates)
Players need to look for the Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow Energy Crystals in Fisch:
- Green Energy Crystal: X: 19873, Y: 448, Z: 5556 – Talk to the ??? NPC and collect the crystal from him. While you’re here, make sure to buy the Pickaxe which costs 5000C$.
- Blue Energy Crystal: Visit the GPS coordinates of X: 20215, Y: 211, Z: 5447 and use the pickaxe to break the ice and collect the Blue Energy Crystal.
- Yellow Energy Crystal: When there’s an Avalanche event going on, you can get the Yellow Crystal which can be collected from X: 19498, Y: 335, Z: 5551.
- Red Energy Crystal: After you press all the buttons as mentioned above, visit the NPC at the top of the Northern Summit and get the Red Energy Crystal from them. You can steal it, or buy it for 250,000C$. Since stealing it will cause the NPC to kill your character and take 10% of your cash (max 2000C$), it’s best to just buy it from him.

- Passive: There’s a 5-10% chance of catching fish with the Heavenly mutation which increases the value of the fish by 5x (+400%).
