While fishing anywhere will give you some common, uncommon, and rare catches, if you cast a line in the best fishing spots in Fisch, you will obtain higher rarity fish that sell for a good price. This is a great way to not only progress your bestiary but also earn more money faster. Here are my recommendations of the best locations to fish and the best times to get started.
The locations mentioned below may differ from your experience, but if you’re new to the game, these places are definitely worth visiting.
Best Places to Fish in Fisch
First, make sure you have unlocked a boat or a surfboard. You can also hop onto a random player’s boat or join a friend. Then, visit these islands for some rare to mythical catches:
- Forsaken Shores pond (at any time of the day and weather) and the shore.
- Snowcap island and the Snowcap cave at night during rainy and foggy weather.
- Saltwater locations of Roslit Bay at any time of the day.
- Vertigo (Strange Whirlpool) and The Depths.
- Wherever there’s a Fish Abundance marked in the Ocean.
- Desolate Deep and Brine Pool.
- Ancient Isle.
- Lastly, instead of a spot, the best time to fish is when there’s a server event such as the Shiny Surge, Mutation Surge, Shark Hunt, Night of the Fireflies, Night of the Luminous, Moonlit Mirage and more.
While most locations can be accessed via boat, to get to Vertigo, you need to find a Strange Whirlpool with wind coming out of it. Jump into the whirlpool and you will be instantly teleported to the Vertigo location. Drop down to Vertigo Dip and you will find various important catches here including The Depths Key, Treasure Map and more.
The Depths key will help you unlock The Depths location where the Rod of The Depths can be purchased.
The Forsaken Shores pond is one of the best fishing spots in Fisch because of the frequency of Mythical catches as well as bait crates that can be fished out of the water. This will not only make you money but also save the cash that you would’ve spent on crates. If you have a Magnet rod, then you’ll be catching a lot of crates with bait that will help you catch rare fish.
Having a Fish Radar will make your life much easier in-game because you will be able to see the highlighted regions to catch fish. This is useful especially to complete Angler quests. You can buy a Fish Radar from Moosewood at the Pier near the Shipwright.
Remember that weather has a +35% luck boost to find the specific fish you’re looking for. So check out our Fisch guides, and note down the weather needed for a particular catch. You can change the current weather to something else by using a Totem.
- Windset Totem changes the weather to windy.
- Smokescreen Totem changes the weather to foggy.
- Tempest Totem changes the weather to rainy.
- Aurora Totem activates the Aurora Borealis event which provides all server players an x6 Universal Luck Boost for the night.
- Sundial Totem changes the time of day so if you’re more focused on nocturnal fish, this can come in handy.
Before you head out, make sure you have some good fishing rods unlocked. That’s because some of the rarer fish are big and need stronger rods to catch them. For example, the Steady Rod can catch massive fish because its max kg is 100,000kg, plus, it can be enchanted. There’s also the Fortune Rod that gives you extra luck (110%) but -15% resilience which can be bought from Roslit Bay.
Apart from these, there are much better ones like the Mythical Rod, Kings Rod, Trident Rod, Sunken Rod and No Life Rod that will give you good results while fishing.
When you combine all of this along with the best Fishing spots in Fisch on Roblox, you’re bound to get rarer catches that sell for a good amount of in-game cash. For more tips, tricks and hidden locations, check out our Fisch guide on Gamer Tweak.
