The Coral Geode is an item in Fisch that grants the Deep Coral bait which can boost your luck of obtaining the Mythical Barreleye fish in The Depths, Lepidotes in Ancient Archives, and more rare fishes. Aside from this, it can also have some more items, which is why you may need to farm it. Here’s the best location to obtain Coral Geode and everything else you need to know about this creature.
How to Get Coral Geode in Fisch (Location)
Coral Geode can be fished from the waters of Desolate Deep or you can directly buy it at Desolate Pocket for 600C$.
For both of these locations, you will have to take a deep dive underwater. While the basic diving gear will work, having the advanced version and flippers will make the swim much easier. Jump in from the location of the red buoy behind Sunstone Island and keep going downwards until you see a signboard.
Take a right, dodge the sea mines and you will find yourself in Desolate Pocket. Start fishing here and you will also gain 20 XP upon catching it.
Another location to catch a Coral Geode is in the Brine Pool which requires the Reinforced rod for fishing. The best bait to use would be the Magnet which is obtainable from bait crates, common crates, and the Angler NPC. Thankfully, no specific weather, season, or time of day is necessary.

It’s an Uncommon fish, so you will find plenty of them during your fishing session. When you’ve caught a Coral Geode, equip it to your character’s hand and click on it. This will open it up and grant either cash, fish, or bait.
The Deep Coral bait, in particular, is a Legendary bait that has 50 Resilience, and -10 Preferred Luck. If you don’t want to open the Geode but directly sell it, you can do so because it provides an average of 200C$ in return. However, since most of the fish located in The Depths prefer the Deep Coral bait, it’s best to use the Coral Geode when you find it.
You can leave the Desolate pocket by using this teleportation mirror and instantly travel to Sunstone island.
