The Brutal Company mod raises the difficulty bar to a hardcore level and adds new events to the game. On top of that, it also syncs to friends and other players who don’t have the mod. So, only the host is required to download and run this mod. If you are joining your friend who has the mod, you don’t need to download the mod.

This is a perfect mod for seasoned or veteran players making it harder to beat. As of the update v1.2.4 of this mod, there are 15 events currently. They are as follows:

  • Turret Hell: Spawns plenty of Turrets.
  • Landmine Hell: Spawns plenty of Landmines.
  • Schizophrenia: Increases the chances of Ghost Girl spawning during the game.
  • Spontaneous Combustion: Landmines randomly appear and explore under your feet. But unlike normal landmines, these will explode with a high delay.
  • Reset All Heat: Resets all the heat.
  • The Companies Automated Defense System: This event spawns a turret inside your ship.
  • Hoarder Town: Spawns plenty of Hoarder Bugs.
  • Lasso Man Is Real: Spawns unfinished Lasso men from the game files.
  • Unfair Company: The harder version of Eclipse weather.
  • Oops, All Snare Fleas: Spawns plenty of Snare Fleas.
  • The Worst Combo Of All Time: Spawns Brackens and Coil-heads.
  • Chaos Company: Spawns plenty of different enemies.
  • Delivery: Creates random orders for you at the Terminal.
  • You Bought Walkies, Right?: Replace your placed orders at the Terminal with random orders.
  • All: All events in one game.

Thanks to the mqopi for the above list of events and their valuable info. However, note that there is a probability that none of the events will occur.
