There are four Type Soul races that players will have the option to choose from at the start. Shinigami, Hollow, Quincy, and Vizard are the ones available in this fascinating Bleach-inspired game. If you are a long-time fan of the series then choosing from these can turn out to be tricky as all of them come with their unique abilities. So which is one is the best amongst them for you, well this guide will explain all of the races so that you can choose the best out of them for you.
List of All the Races in Type Soul
Here are all four races explained with their abilities in Type Soul
- Soul Reaper:
- Players will be familiar with the Shinigami or Soul Reaper race in Type Soul. As Bleach heavily centers around the soul society, Shinigamis are the most common race you will come across in the series as well as in the game. Players will get their hands on two of the most powerful abilities in the game namely the Shikai & the Bankai. There are 13 divisions in the Soul Society that players can join.
- Hollow:
- The natural arch enemies to the Shinigamis and the residence of Hueco Mundo, Hollows are lost spirits. Players can become Hollows once they rip off their chain of fate after dying in the game. From here you will have to continue your progression from a weak hollow to a stronger Arrancar or a Vasto Lorde. Once you are an Arrancar you can unlock the Partial Res which is equivalent to Shikai.
- Quincy:
- These are powerful humans who can see the spirits themselves. Many fans of the series will be familiar with one of the best races ever introduced in the series and they are not shy in Type Soul too. You will be able to unlock Reishi while selecting this race.
- Vizard:
- If you like Shinigamis and Hollows both, then here you get Vizards. This race has the abilities of both races combined in one. They are soul reapers who once illegally learnt the powers of Hollows and now they have the best of both the world. They have a huge scale of damage and defensive buffs. Unfortunately as of now, Vizards are unobtainable in the game but can be added in further updates.
Which is the Best Race?
All four races have their abilities and unique buffs at their disposal. If you fancy some good over evil action then we recommend you try out the Shinigamis and learn Bankai. It is one of the coolest abilities that players will come across in the game. But if you want to explore the world of spirits from close then Hollows have to be the best choice. For players who are just starting and are unaware of the game mechanics then Quincies are your best bet.
