How to Use Limit Break in FFXIV? (Controls)
Below we have mentioned the steps to activate and use Limit Break (LB) in Final Fantasy 14 (FFXIV).
- First, head to your Main Menu.
- Next, under the Character tab select Action & Traits.
- After that, go to the General tab.
- And there you’ll find the Limit Break feature.
- Now simply assign it a Hotbar Palette key and you’ll be good to go.
For those who are unaware, the Limit Break gauge gets filled automatically and is located in the top left corner of your screen. This feature only appears when you are in a Light party (Consisting of 4 to 7 players) or in a Full Party (Consisting of 8 players). However, the light party will only get one default LB gauge and an additional one for fighting the dungeon boss. Whereas the Full party is eligible for up to 3 LB gauges, giving the party members more chances to wield this Powerful Action. On the other hand, if any player leaves the match, then the LB gauge will be deducted considering the party size. As mentioned earlier, the abilities and their effects differ for every class available in the game.
