With the recent release of the v3.0 Sumeru update, several new materials and resources have been added to Genshin Impact. This includes a wide range of local specialties of the Sumeru region. One of these specialties includes Padisarah which can be used in several cooking recipes. These food items include Sumeru’s special Tahchin and Biryani which needs this local specialty plant. Where to Get Padisarah in Genshin Impact (Location)
Being a local specialty, you can get this ingredient from three sub-areas in the Sumeru region. But you need to make sure of unlocking the region, first. You can unlock the Sumeru region by completing Chapter II: Act IV and being at least on Adventure rank 35. Alternatively, you can buy a maximum of 5 Padisrah specialties from the NPC, Jut. Each one of the Padisarah costs 1000 Mora.
But if you are looking to get it from the Sumeru region, here’s where you will find them:
Vanarana Region
You will find most of this local specialty in the Vanarana region. If you have unlocked it yet, you can head there using a local transporter or teleport directly. As you head there, you can gather some of these ingredients to the north of the region. You will find most of the Padisarah located to the south of this region.

Sumeru City
Similar to the Vanarana region, you will find this ingredient scattered around Sumeru city. There are also a few Padisarah scattered outside of the city. So, make sure to gather them all to brew delicious cooking meals.
Palace of Alcazarzaray
The Palace of Alcazarzaray is a subarea located to the west of the Sumeru region in Lokapala Jungle. While you will find a couple of Padisarah outside, you will find most of them inside the palace.
Padisarah Cooking Recipes
As mentioned earlier, you can use Padisarah to cook Tahchin and Biryani. Here’s the cooking recipe for both of them:
- Biryani: x4 Rice, x3 Raw Meat, x2 Spice, and x1 Padisarah
- Tahchin: x4 Rice, x2 Fowl, x2 Fish, and x1 Padisarah
