Valheim: How To Dive Deep In Ocean

Updated Date :

Valheim has given us one of the most beautiful procedural-generated maps in recent history. It has different vast biomes, including an Ocean biome. Part of your game is to explore your biomes, by sailing through the Ocean. Now as we know there are Serpents diving in this deep waters we need to have something better than a Raft, at least a Karve or a Longship. You might have started hunting & farming Serpents for their skin and meat now, but if unfortunately you killed it in shallow water before pulling it to the land and all the loot went down in water, don’t worry. Because today we will be looking at how to dive and retrieve loots and tressures from water in Valheim.

How to Dive in Valheim?

Dive Valheim
To dive in Valheim, you need to jump into the water from a height like a cliff. The higher you jump from, the deeper you dive.

To dive in Valheim, you need to jump from a height like a raised point on land like cliffs or even the top of your house near the deep water. The higher your jumping point, the deeper you will dive into the water. Once you have dived in, press the button “E” to collect all the items and other stuff that is underwater. Diving is momentary in Valheim, as the game mechanics will pull you back up to the water surface. Keep smashing the E button to make sure to collect all the loot in your vicinity while you dive. The time you get underwater in the Ocean is very less.

We understand you must be frustrated by this game mechanism considering how all other major new era games support diving function. But the developer of Valheim has already given us a glimpse into the future updates they are giving us via their shared road map plan. as a 3rd update, we will receive “Ships and the Sea”, where we are hoping to receive a full-fledged diving option included in it too.

That’s everything you need to know about diving in Valheim. While you’re here, get more hidden secrets in our Valheim Wiki Guide. Also check out more tips & tricks that will help you level up your gameplay in our Valheim guides
