How to Get Weapon Upgrades in Dave the Diver (Permanent)
To upgrade your weapons like Guns & Rifles permanently you’ll have to find Weapon Enhancement Kits in Dave the Diver. These kits are found in the Blue Hole (Sea) and spawn in random locations. Players can easily identify these boxes by their yellow pistol symbol. They usually contain upgrade parts for your existing weapons or Blueprints for a new one. After you have at least 3 blueprints simply open Duff’s Weapon shop app and unlock new weapons permanently. Similarly, once you have the corresponding upgrade part access the app and get the job done. Duff will install this application on your phone after you have your first boss fight in the game.
Do note, the Kits you come across can also have some other items such as temporary upgrades, Harpoon tips, and more. However, those are only temporary upgrades and will disappear as soon as you get back to the boat. So it seems the only way to get permanent upgrades for your Gun is by finding the Kits and using Duff’s weapon shop app. Thankfully that’s not the case with the Harpoon Gun you get in the early stages of the game.
