How to Get Amber Spine in Grow a Garden

Published Date :

The Amber Spine is a Mythical crop in Grow a Garden, introduced during the prehistoric event’s second week on July 12, 2025. It’s classified as a multi-harvest plant, so each mature Amber Spine can be harvested multiple times, leading to consistent Sheckles income.

The seed is gray with three protruding amber “bones” resembling a spine, hence the name. So if you’d like to get this Prehistoric crop in your garden, here’s how to get started.

You can obtain the seed primarily through crafting at the regular crafting station near the gear shop, as part of a bonus quest. The recipe requires:

  • 1x Cactus Seed: Obtainable from the seed shop, purchasable by Robux or it can appear through pets (such as  Red Fox), Lucky Harvest, or a normal Seed Pack.
  • 1x Pumpkin Crop: Obtainable from the Seed Shop, Seed Pack, Lucky Harvest, or pets.
  • 1x Horsetail Crop: This needs to be crafted with 1 Stonebite seed, 1 Bamboo crop, 1 Corn crop and 15K Sheckles. You can also buy it with Robux.
  • You also require 650,000 Sheckles and after submitting everything, you need to wait 30 minutes for it to craft.

Alternatively, the seed is available for direct purchase at 625 Robux in the Seed Shop itself.

Here are some details about its value:

  • Base Crop Value: 55,000 Sheckles.
  • Base Weight: 6 kg
  • Minimum Harvest Weight: 7.6 kg
  • Huge Harvest Chance: 0.4%

The community suggests the Amber Spine provides reliably large harvests with each producing roughly 3 crops over 6 kg, coming to around 18 kg per plant. This makes it a strong choice for prehistoric DNA machine upgrading.

Because it’s multi-harvest and has a good base value, Amber Spine in Grow a Garden is ideal for players looking to make great value over multiple harvests. It performs best with mid-tier sprinklers like master or godly, but can still grow without them.
