After progressing a bit in the game, you get a choice of whether you should send Alidoro to Venigni Works or Hotel Krat in Lies of P. This is one of the most important NPCs in the game that you shouldn’t kill if you want to get your hands on those sweet boss weapons. You meet Alidoro for the first time at St. Frangelico’s Cathedral when you reach Chapter 4. The catch is though you won’t be getting to exchange your Rare Ergo just yet. You have to find him again later. So here is where you should send him.
Should You Lie or Tell Truth to Alidoro in Lies of P? (Venigni or Krat Choice)
You should ideally send Alidoro directly to Hotel Krat. I say ideally because this way you can find him easily and use your boss souls to get special weapons and amulets. The only real reason you should send him to Venigni Works is you are playing a Lies-only playthrough. But the choice won’t matter because regardless of what you choose Alidoro always ends up in Hotel Krat.

Nothing particular happens when you make this choice. Alidoro reaches the Hotel safely and you can find him after going left from the reception area. Talk to him and you can now use your Rare Ergo (Boss Souls) to get those Boss weapons to amulets.
What Happens When You Lie to Alidoro in Lies of P? (Send to Venigni Works)
You might think Venigni Works is safe because you recently cleared it before meeting him. But when you go back there to find Alidoro, you actually need to defeat the boss Fallen Archbishop Andreus at the Workshop Union Entrance. Talk to Alidoro again and this time you can tell him the truth and send him to Hotel Krat.
In case you do choose to lie to him again, Alidoro will find out that you aren’t being honest with him and will call you out and still go to Hotel Krat.
