How to Hire and Get More Buddies in Monster Hunter Rise?
To hire and get more Buddies in Monster Hunter Rise, you need to speak to Lori in Buddy Plaza. He is the Buddy Handler of Kamura Village. He will allow you to get and handle everything about a buddy including:
- Hire
- Scout A Buddy
- Rename Buddy
- Dismiss Buddy
You need to select the option Hire or Scout A Buddy while speaking to Lori to get more buddies in MH Rise.
Let’s look at all these 4 options in a bit more detail below:
Hire
Allows you to see all Palicoes and Palimutes available to buy. Their cost varies according to their stasts like moves, levels and so on. The buddies you buy here will be added to your collection you can select any of them anytime to accompany you on a mission. Their abilities like setting up a trap or even attacking a monster during a hunt will help you in capturing and defeating different monsters. Scout a Buddy
If you can’t find the specific type of buddy in the Buy option, you can find them here in Scout a Buddy option. Here you will be able to filter the buddy you want from their special abilities to their color of fur can be selected here. This will put a scouting task for Lori who will find the buddy for you. As this may take more time, you will need to come back later to Lori to collect the buddy.
Rename Buddy
As the option name suggests, you can rename your buddies by using this option.
Dismiss Buddy
If you find yourself not using any of the buddies anymore, or if they are under-leveled for you then you may dismiss them to the wild/ to Lori using this option.
