Here’s how to get Thor in Marvel’s Avengers. In single-player mode, you need to complete a mission named “Testing…1..2..3..” which shows up towards the end of the campaign. By this time, you will have already unlocked some other heroes. When you manage to successfully finish this mission, Thor will be all yours to play in single-player.
You can also unlock Thor by playing another mode and that’s the Avengers Initiative mode. With this, you will get him as a playable character but note that since it takes place after the story, you might get important details spoiled for you. So, it is better to go for the first option mentioned above.
Now, to unlock Thor in Marvel’s Avengers multiplayer mode, you have to complete Iron Man’s HARM challenge. After that, you can become this Mjolnir wielding God of Thunder instantly. Go to the War Table and then select any of the 6 playable characters.
