Firstly, you need a Workbench in order to craft a Hoe in Valheim. Here are the crafting materials you need to make this tool:
- 5 Wood
- 2 Stone
Wood can be obtained by chopping down trees which should be easy peasy. For stones, you must explore the lands and find them scattered on the ground. Once you craft a Pickaxe, you can harvest stone from large rocks which makes things easier.
How to Use a Hoe?
You can use a Hoe in Valheim to level the ground but only to raise it. Yes, you can only elevate the ground with this tool. If you wish to lower the ground, you need to use the Antler Pickaxe. It can be crafted with 10 Wood and 1 Hard Antler. You will obtain a Hard Antler as a drop after defeating the first boss, Eikthyr. Apart from this, you will also get to mine Copper and Tin with this Pickaxe.
