Open up your map and head to Blackfell Oil Fields in the Red Sands area. Note that this is a level 43 area and the enemies here can be challenging. So make your way here only if you are equipped to take on the challenge. There are teleportation towers nearby that can make your journey to the location quicker.

When you reach the area, look for an enemy being lifted by a Dog balloon animal. Kill the enemy and approach its body.

How to use the Pup Buddy?

The Pup Buddy produces special materials that can be used to craft Whim Potions. Specifically, you can use it to increase Load capabilities.

Whim Potions are basically consumables that can give you a temporary buff. Featherweight, and Jump Boosters are some of them. Jump Booster, as the name suggests, allows you to do double jumps for 30 seconds and Featherweight lets you carry heavier loads. You can get the first two from the Battle pass while the Jump Booster can be unlocked from Memetic Specialization.

When you’re back to your base with the Deviant, make sure to put it in the Isolated Securement unit and provide elements to improve its mood for better efficiency. The Pup Buddy requires Green Light, Music and a Toy.
