To improve the mood and efficiency of your Deviants by providing a good securement environment, you can use Toys. This is especially needed for the Territory Deviants like The Digby Boy. However, while trying to increase the recovery speed during dormancy, many are wondering how to place toys in Once Human and where to get them as well. We’ve got you covered.
How to Get a Toy for Deviants?
You can purchase toys with your in-game currency, Starchrom, from the Seasonal Shop.
- Press Escape (ESC) to open the menu.
- Go to this section on the right side of the screen (shown in the image below).
- Click on Season Goals from the menu on the top.
- Navigate to the Season Shop located on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Under Phase I of the Furniture Formula option, you’ll find the Formula: Plush Toy. You can purchase one for 1,000 Starchrom.
How to Place Toys Around in Once Human
- Head back to your base and go to the Securement Unit where you’ve kept your Deviant.
- Open the build menu by pressing B.
- Navigate to the Furniture section and then Decoration.
- Under Floor Decor, you’ll find the Plush Toy or any other toy you might have bought.
- Click and drag the toy to the right location near the Deviant’s Isolated Securement Unit. If it’s a suitable place, the silhouette will turn green.
- Release the mouse button to place the toy.
A happy Deviant near a toy will work more efficiently, gathering more resources per work cycle. Be sure to experiment with toy placement because some changes might improve the Deviant’s mood even more.
