Having a radio is important to play music for your deviant to be happy in Once Human. However, it won’t be readily available—players have to build it next to the Isolated Securement unit(s) so that the deviant boosts its efficiency for the tasks they do. Here’s how you can get a radio easily.

How to Get a Radio in Once Human
- Unlock Radio from the Memetic from Building > Basic Furniture II.
- Open up the Build Mode by pressing the B key and then right-click.
- Under the Furniture tab, click on Home Entertainment.
- Hover on Radio and you will see that the crafting requirements are x10 Log, x4 Rusted Parts, x3 Waste Plastic, x2 Copper Ingot, and x1 Electronic Parts.
Logs can be obtained by cutting down trees around the map, while Parts and Waste Plastic can be acquired by disassembling scraps found by exploring. Lastly, Copper Ingots can be made by smelting in the Furnace.
Once you’d built the Radio in Once Human, place it next to the deviants. Interact with the box by pressing F and choose the radio station you wish to play such as 89.1 Classical FM, 95.5 Abyss Oracle, etc.
With this, you will see that your Deviant’s Deviant Power and Mood recovery speed increases during dormancy.
