Energy Links is the primary currency in Once Human which is important for various tasks like fast travel, buying items, crafting, unlocking new memetics, and more. Since you’ll need a lot of them throughout your journey, here’s how you can efficiently earn and farm Energy Links quickly.
How to Get Energy Links in Once Human
Selling Items to Merchants
Craft items like weapons, armor, or consumables and sell them to merchants found in various locations. Higher-tier items generally fetch higher prices so, focus on crafting items with a high demand and reasonable crafting costs.
Using Once Human Codes
The developers regularly release new codes that you can redeem to get 300 Energy Links per code, as well as more rewards like Activators, Adrenaline Shots, and Sanity Gummies. They can expire at any time, so be sure to redeem them as soon as possible.
Completing Missions and Quests
Both main story and side quests often reward players with Energy Links. For example, A Miracle Chase, The Shadowed Lighthouse, The Call of Childhood and Dayton Hospital x100 Energy Links each and some more quests like Carnival of Doom give you x200 Energy Links upon completion. While this isn’t a lot, it’s one way you can get this currency while playing the game naturally.

How to Farm Energy Links Quickly (Best Farming Methods)
Selling Copper Ingots
- Go to your Electric Furnace and craft Copper Ingots. If you have multiple Electric Furnaces, make the most of them to create 200+ Ingots.
- You can find Copper Ore (use Digby Boys for more output) and mine the nodes to make some more Ingots.
- Then head to a settlement like Meyer’s Market or Deadsville. Visit any merchant there.
- Speak to them and go to the Sell tab.
- Now sell all the 200+ Copper Ingots you have and you should get 816 Energy Links at once.
- Keep doing this and you should be able to farm a high quantity of Energy Links in Once Human in a short period of time.
Memetic Specialization – Combo Chipset
When you open up your Memetics Cradle tab > Memetics, you may have seen the golden section at the top left corner of the screen. Click on it and make it a point to unlock Combo Chipset. Getting the Combo Chipset blueprint is random, but once you have it unlocked, you have a chance to earn a lot of Energy Links quickly.
This unlocks a new formula that turns electronic parts, metal scrap, and parts into the combo chipset using the Intermediate Supplies Workbench. This Combo Chipset can be sold for a large number of Energy Links at a time.
To craft 1 Combo Chipset, you need:
- 20 Metal Scraps
- 30 Electronic Parts
- 10 Automatic Parts or 15 Rusted Parts or 15 Standard Parts or 12 Special Parts or 12 Refined Parts
After this, go back to a vendor and sell it to get rich quickly! Every vendor has a selling limit and you will see when the limit will refresh under their name when you interact with them.
