If you’re trying to complete the Poseidon Trial in Fisch solo, you need to place 6 sharks on pedestals—the Great Hammerhead, Whale, Great White, Ancient Megalodon and Icebeard as well as Ginsu Sharks. Finding them is not going to be easy, but if there’s no option for trading or completing the puzzle as a group, you will have to grind it the old-fashioned way. Check out the locations, best baits, time, weather, season and fishing rods you need to use to catch them.
How to Catch the Icebeard Shark in Fisch
The Icebeard Shark can be caught from the Glacial Grotto region in the Northern Expedition island. It’s at the top of the island, so you need access to the Winter Jacket, and a good Oxygen tank to make your way there. Its GPS location is X: 20000, Y: 1042, Z: 5719.9.
The best time to get an Icebeard shark would be at night during Winter but any weather works. Truffle Worm provides the best chance to hook this creature, however, as soon as you see the pink exclamation mark, be prepared for a -50% progress speed decrease.
Even if you’re skipping the puzzle but want this fish in your inventory, it will provide an average C$ of around 5000-6000, and the base XP will be around 2000.
How to Catch the Ginsu Shark in Fisch
The Ginsu Shark is a Legendary catch obtainable from the Ancient Isle outer waterfall area. Fish Head is the best bait to catch at night during Summer and any weather. A yellow exclamation mark will appear and inflict a -20% progress speed decrease while reeling it in.
As for the best fishing rods to catch both of these sharks, some options are the Rod of the Depths, No Life Rod, Heaven’s Rod, Rod of the Eternal King, Rod of the Forgotten Fang, or, of course, the OP Seraphic Rod.
