Valheim has gone on to become one of the most popular games on Steam. What is even more surprising is the fact that it has achieved this level of popularity despite being released as an early access version only. The credit for that solely lies with the blend of gameplay and graphics that stand out. The game has quite an open-world experience too with a major focus on individual tasks and activities. May it be constructing your base or farming your land, Valheim has you covered. As such players have been very curious about whether or not you can farm something other than carrots. Can you Farm Mushrooms in Valheim?
The simple answer is no, you cannot farm Mushrooms in Valheim. Valheim does not have any feature where you can decide to cultivate Mushrooms on your farm. The only edible item you can farm is Carrot, for now. While you can make farm plots by leveling the ground using a hoe, the Cultivator has no options except for growing carrots. Hopefully, since this game is still in its nascent stage, the developers will think about expanding the farming inventory.
Mushrooms and Berries are available in the wild in Valheim though. They can be found when roaming around the various Biomes in the game. Mushrooms can usually be found in Crypts and Dungeons in the game. These are an important part of various Mead recipes and grow back frequently.
