Blue Weevil Beetle in Animal Crossing New Horizons (ACNH)
This little critter is available for quite a short time as compared to some other bugs. For the islands in the Northern Hemisphere, it is there from July to August. For those down South, it will arrive in January and stay till February.
You can catch it at any time of the day but you need to specifically look for it on Palm trees. There are no other spawn conditions that you need to fulfill, thankfully. Just this one.
Don’t have Palm trees on your island? There’s a solution for that. Simply use your Nook Miles Ticket to visit an island with Palm Trees. You can eat a fruit to get fruit energy and pick up the entire tree to plant on your own island. Another way to go about it is to take a coconut from there and plant that coconut near a beach on your island. Here’s more in-depth information on how to grow a Palm tree on your island.
As soon as you spot this beautiful and bright creature, get close to it slowly and use your net to capture it. When you get the Blue Weevil Beetle, donate it to Blathers if you like or sell it. Selling this critter will get you 800 Bells.
