These are items you can equip before starting a mission to get bonus perks or help. It is different for each booster for example, one of them makes sure you have your entire ammo stocked up when you leave the Hellpod, while another can increase your stamina or recovery, so here is how you can unlock them all and how to equip them.
How to Get Boosters in Helldivers 2
You need Medals in order to get boosters. Assuming you have collected them here is where you can unlock them from:
- While on your ship open the Acquisition Center. Press the R key for PC.
- Go to the Warbonds tab. Here you can select between Standard or Premium Warbonds.
- Now, go to each page and check the Booster that you would like to unlock.
- Click on it and then click on the Claim Item button.
- You can now find it in your Armory.
All Boosters in Helldivers 2
There are 7 Boosters in this game, 6 in Standard Warbonds and 1 in Premium Warbond. Here is their unlock cost, the page where you find it, and the bonus effect:
Standard Warbond
- Hellpod Space Optimisation
- Unlock: Needs 15 Medals. It can be found on Page 3.
- Bonus Effect: Helldivers come out of the Hellpod fully stocked on Ammo, Grenades, and Stims.
- Vitality Enhancement
- Unlock: Needs 20 medals. It can be found on Page 4.
- Bonus Effect: Allows all Helldivers to resist injury.
- UAV Recon Booster
- Unlock: Needs 40 medals. It can be found on Page 6.
- Bonus Effect: Increases all Helldivers’ effective radar range.
- Stamina Enhancement
- Unlock: Needs 75 medals. It can be found on Page 7.
- Bonus Effect: Increases all Helldivers’ stamina capacity and recovery.
- Muscle Enhancement
- Unlock: Needs 70 medals. It can be found on Page 9.
- Bonus Effect: Allows Helldivers to traverse difficult terrain with ease.
- Increased Reinforcement Budget
- Unlock: Needs 150 medals. It can be found on Page 10.
- Bonus Effect: Increases the number of available reinforcements.
Premium Warbond
- Flexible Reinforcement Budget
- Unlock: 75 Medals. It can be found on Page 3.
- Bonus Effect: Reduces time until new reinforcements are granted once they’ve been depleted.
How to Equip Boosters in Helldivers 2
- Go to the Armory. You can find it inside your ship.
- There will be several tabs here, go to Booster sub-tab.
- Select the booster that you want to equip.
You can equip a booster before starting a mission.
Is Booster Unlimited and Who Can Use it?
Yes, you can use Boosters repeatedly in each mission. However, you cannot stack its effects. This means each player in the squad will have to use a different booster. For example, if you have Hellpod Space Optimisation, already equipped your squad members can use any of the other ones except that.
