The Hylian Rice is a valuable ingredient for tons of recipes in Zelda TOTK. You will also need to stock up on Hylian Rice for the Gourmets Gone Missing side quest. This versatile ingredient comes in handy either while completing quests or trying recipes. As important as Hylian Rice are, they are not quite easy to locate in the game. Don’t worry as our guide will show you where to get Hylian Rice in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Get Hylian Rice in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (Best Locations)

    • Hylian Rice can be found at Lookout Landing, Zora’s Domain, and Hateno Village in TOTK.
    • However, if you want to get it during the early game, then Lookout Landing’s General Store will be your best option. It is the first town in the game that you will come across. You will be able to purchase Hylian Rice for 12 Rupees per piece from this very store.
    • Zora’s Domain in the Lanayru region will also have a store with Hylian Rice on sale.
    • You will also find Hylian Rice at the Hateno Village General Store located towards the east of Hyrule.

Apart from the above locations, you can also get Hylian Rice while trying to cut tall grass or trees all around the map. However, there is no specific location to farm Hylian Rice. This is because tall grass and trees can be found almost everywhere on the Zelda TOTK map. Moreover, the odds of getting Hylian Rice from cutting trees are quite rare. Though you can spawn Hylian Rice for free, the chances of getting them are rather inconsistent. Hence, without a doubt, buying Hylian Rice from the purchase shop is the best way to get them.

That’s all you need to know on how to get Hylian Rice in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. While you’re here, don’t forget to check out more guides on our Zelda TOTK section right here.
