Completing quests and world exploration won’t be of much help; hence, completing requests and bounties in Liyue should be your major focus to reach City Reputation level 6 as quickly as possible. It might take at least a couple or three weeks to get to level 6.

Once you have unlocked the Geo Treasure Compass blueprint, all you need to do is head to Master Zhang, the blacksmith in Liyue to craft the item for usage.

To craft the Geo Treasure Compass, head to the blacksmith in Liyue City location. From here, you can use the Geo Treasure Compass blueprint to forge the item if you have the required ingredients. - 30 Cor Lapis
- 50 Electro Crystals

Genshin Impact Geo Treasure Compass lets you detect unclaimed nearby treasure chests in Liyue City. It will show a wind-like effect in the direction where the chest is located. This will make your chest exploration a lot easier, especially when only a few unclaimed chests are left in the region.
If a chest is found nearby, the Geo Treasure Compass will enter a cooldown period of 30 seconds, otherwise only for 5 seconds if no chests are found.
