Completed The Closed Door quest but not sure how to cross the broken bridge path at the end of the Temple of Time? There are various missions that the Temple of Time gives you and after you complete them to unlock abilities, return, and get the door open, you are faced with another massive gap to get across. To proceed to Hyrule, you need to complete this ending section of the Temple of Time and it cannot be skipped.
Once you’re outside, the quest marker on the map points you to the edge but many players get stuck at this point. Tried a Zonai Wing but failed? Tried to use a fan from a Dispenser? Been there. Here’s how to get across the final bridge in Temple of Time.
How to Cross the Broken Bridge Path in Temple of Time?
You don’t need a Zonai Wing, Paraglider, or any machine with fans. All you need to do is get down to a lower level (without falling off), look up, and use your Ascend ability to get up and across.
It’s natural to not think of Ascend when you are trying to get across because before this we’ve only learned to use it vertically. This bridge allows us to think out of the box and look for different ways to access an area, letting us know that it might even use Ascend for that purpose. I’d say this was a well-thought-out and tricky part of the puzzle – one of many, many more to come.
As soon as you come up after Ascending, proceed to the objective and now, you are ready to head into bigger dangers in Hyrule.
