Thankfully, you are free to complete any Shrine in any order in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each one of those Shrines provides you with a Light of Blessing along with a challenge. There are over 100 Shrines and it may get confusing which one should be prioritized first. So to help you out, we will mention some of the best Shrines that you can complete first in TOTK. Best Shrines to Complete First in Zelda TOTK
Here’s a list of Shrines that players should look to complete first while playing Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
Kynosis Shrine
- Location: Central Hyrule
- Coordinates: -0205, 0451, 0021
The Kyonosis Shrine is one of the most important Shrines to complete during the early game period. This is where you will be given basic Combat Training and learn moves like Side Hop, Backflip, Perfect Guard, and Charged Attacks. So make sure to visit this Shrine located at the above-mentioned coordinates in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
Yamiyo Shrine
- Location: Central Hyrule
- Coordinates: 0324, 0477, 0027
In this Shrine you will learn about the basics of throwing materials on an opponent to damage them. Here, you will eventually learn how to aim and items like a Fireball to cause damage.
Susuyai Shrine
- Location: Central Hyrule
- Coordinates: -0787, -0438, 0018
After completing the basic Combat Training, you must now learn about crafting and riding vehicles. And that is what you will be learning in the Susuyai Shrine. Make complete use of your Ultrahand to craft vehicles using boards & Zonai Wheels nearby and then use them to travel to the statue at the end.
Ishodag Shrine
- Location: Central Hyrule
- Coordinates: -0880, 0421, 0049
Once you have learned the ability to travel on land, it is time to know about the ability to travel by air as well. And so you should complete the Ishodag Shrine early in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK). Trust me, it will come in handy a lot in later parts of the game.
Ekochiu Shrine
- Location: Central Hyrule (near Woodland Stable)
- Coordinates: 1063, 1278, 0045
The Ekochiu Shrine gives you an excellent opportunity to use your Ultrahand and the Recall Ability. Here, you will be given a challenge to tackle all the obstacles and make your way forward with the help of the Recall ability. In this process, you will get to know more about the Recall ability.
