Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Recall Ability Explained

Of all the new abilities in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the Recall ability is the best one that players can use. With this ability, players can rewind certain objects for a limited amount of time. With Zelda looking to expand their in-game mechanics, numerous abilities are now available in the game that will change the experience for veteran players and new ones. Surely the ability to reverse time sounds eye-catching and players would want to know how to unlock and use this ability. As you read below, we will explain how that works.

How to Unlock Recall in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Zelda TOTK Use Recall Ability

You will have to complete all Shrines in the Sky Island region and then head back to Temple of Time. Once you enter, make your way to the object inside and then Examine it. After a small cutscene, Zelda will provide Link with the Recall Ability in Tears of the Kingdom. With this ability, smashed pieces of rock from Sky Island will turn into a boulder and start flying back allowing Link to access this area as well. This little gameplay was displayed in the demo gameplay made available to the players.

How to Use Recall in Zelda TotK

Once you have unlocked the Recall ability, press L and then select the object that you want to rewind. This will allow you to use the recall ability in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. However, since the ability works for a limited time before things go back to normal, players will have to calculate how long the objects will last in the recalled state. Once you learn how to use this ability, you can access numerous areas as well as complete certain quests that will require you to use the Recall ability.
