Overwatch 2 counter Cassidy

The Heroes given below are great counters to Cassidy.

  • Orisa
  • Hanzo
  • Widowmaker
  • Kiriko

Widowmaker

A classic sniper build is a great tool against an advancing Cassidy. The Grapple Hook comes in handy when pushed into a corner and the mines keep any unwanted flanks at bay. Keep your distance and pick off Cassidy from across the map.

Orisa

This tank is the perfect counter to an aggressive Cassidy with her high tolerance for damage. Her primary weapon the augmented fusion drive overheats instead of needing to reload and her javelin is capable of stunning. This combined with Orisa’s Fortify ability makes her a tough target for any Cassidy mains.

Hanzo

Cassidy is perfect at mid-range battles so keeping your distance is the best option you have. Hanzo has a similar build to Cassidy, but he has the advantage of increased mobility which gives him the upper hand in most encounters. Abilities like sonic arrow are great at picking out enemies and his ultimate is potentially team-ending.

Kiriko

A great team pick when going up against Cassidy, Kiriko‘s heals are an effective counter to his magnetic grenades. But it’s her kunai with their high headshot damage that can be the real difference. Her wall climbing can come in clutch if you find yourself looking down Cassidy’s barrel.

Other heroes like Roadhog, Reinhardt, Sojourn, and Soldier:76 are also good options when going up against Cassidy.
