Oath of the Ancients

In Act 1, you can do these tasks to break your Oath of the Ancients as a Paladin in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Kill the Owlbear and its cub near Blighted Village.
- Kill Anders, the Paladin of Tyr at the Tollhouse on the Risen Road before discovering his true allegiance to Zariel (simply do not engage him in dialogue).
- Agree to infiltrate the Druid Grove when speaking with Minthara in the Shattered Sanctum at the Goblin Camp.
Oath of Devotion

- Kill the Tieflings Nymessa and Damays when you first find Laezel in the cage after crashing on the beach.
- Free the Goblin Sazza in Druid Grove.

- Reanimate Mayrina’s husband, Connor.
- Complete the “Avenge Glut’s Circle” questline in the Underdark and usurp the Myconid colony from Sovereign Spaw for Sovereign Glut.
Once you have broken the Paladin Oath in Baldur’s Gate 3, the Oathbreaker Knight will show up in your visions. After a Long Rest, he will then meet you up at your Camp and initiate a cutscene. Simply give answers to his questions and you will become the Oathbreaker.
