How To Rescue Sazza in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3)

Go to the “Makeshift Prison” location on the north side of Druids’ Grove to start the quest. When you see a tiefling threatening to shoot a captive goblin named Sazza, step in and stop him. Sazza will admit that you need her help in dealing with her tribe once you question her. Accept to release her and begin the quest.

Exiting the Underground Passage

After completing the conversation with Sazza:

  1. Find the hidden ledge you can jump down to by going behind her cage.
  2. To find the Stone Door, send a character with strong Perception Check to this location.
  3. Enter the Underground Passage by opening the door.

The passage contains fiery guardian statues that will attack, so be prepared for combat. Make your way through while keeping an eye out for traps.

Goblin Fights

You’ll face some Goblins along the way. Despite having Sazza with you, you’ll need to defeat them yourself. Keep Sazza protected behind cover during these fights since she has low health and will cause a quest failure if she dies.

You can heal the Findal on the ground after defeating the goblins. However, this will trigger a Conversation Check, similar to the one with the camp members. To prevent further fighting, you will need to succeed on an Intimidate or Persuade Check of 15 or higher.

When you reach a split in the passage, take the southernmost way on your map. This leads to the exit closest to where Sazza needs to go.

Meet with Minthara

Sazza will thank you and promise to meet you at her Goblin Camp after you exiting. Return to the Druid Grove and speak with Nightwarden Minthara. Sazza will turn on you, but Minthara will end up killing Sazza. You can intervene to save Sazza if you want.
