Best Gravity Spells In Elden Ring

Check out our guide to find out the best Gravity Spells in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring has different types of Spells on sorceries that you can use against your enemies. The Gravity Spells are a type of Sorcery that can be used to hurl rocks and summon Meteorites. As the name implies, these spells use the power of Gravity to do so. Often known as Dragon Killer by the Elden community, you can beat the game with Gravity Build using these spells. But since these Sorcery spells neither have scrolls nor any Merchants that sell them, several players are confused about finding them. Not to worry, check out our guide on the Best Gravity spells in Elden Ring.

There are five Gravity Spells that you can use in Elden Ring. They are as follows:

  • Collapsing Stars
  • Gravity Well
  • Meteorite
  • Meteorite of Astel
  • Rock Sling

Like every Sorcery spell, you have to equip the Glinstone Staff to cast the Gravity Sorcery Spells. To boost and upgrade their power, you can also use the Meteorite Staff.

Now, let’s delve into the locations and requirements of the above Gravity Sorceries or spells in more detail:

Collapsing Stars

This is a Gravity Spell that hurls down a series of Volley projectiles on your enemies. As you use this Sorcery spell, it will gravitationally pull enemies towards you dealing increased damage. The Collapsing Spell can be used for crowd control and when facing hordes of enemies.

  • Location: Can be looted in a chest located on the lower level of the War-Dead Catacombs filled with Scarlet Rot. You can check out our guide on how to get Collapsing Stars for its exact location.
  • Requirements
    • Intelligence: 36 Level
    • FP Cost: 18
    • Stamina Cost: 27

Gravity Well

As you cast this Gravity Spell, it fires a condensed orb of gravitational Force. You can charge up the Gravity Well spell to increase its potency and give some time for your enemies to be pulled. We suggest casting this Gracity Sorcery spell when you have the higher ground. That way you won’t have to deal any damage from your enemies.

  • Location: Dropped by the Lesser Alabaster Lord that appears from the Gravity Portal near the rotating lift of Raya Lucaria Academy.
  • Requirements
    • Intelligence: 17 Level
    • FP Cost: 12
    • Stamina Cost: 20

Meteorite

The Meteorite Gravity spell summons three offensive meteors on the enemies from the skies. When you cast this spell, it opens up a small void that hurls down meteorites on your enemies. You can use the Meteorite spell to defeat larger bosses like Dragons in Elden Ring. But due to its slow casting and projectile speed, you can use it mostly in long-ranged combats.

  • Location: Dropped by the Onyx Lord at the Royal Grave Evergaol upon defeat.
  • Requirements
    • Intelligence: 30 Level
    • FP Cost: 30
    • Stamina Cost: 35

Meteorite of Astel

It is the improved and upgraded version of the Meteorite spell. You can cast the Meteorite of Astel spell to summon a hail of Meteorites from the void. This gravity spell is an Overpowered spell that can be used to defeat Hard bosses and Dragon bosses in Elden Ring. It not only deals with Magic damage but also deals with Physical Damage. To use it infinitely, you can use the Cerulean Hidden tear to last until your FP is fully consumed. You can cast a series of spells as long you have a higher FP.

  • Location: Dropped by Astel, Stars of Darkness boss at the Yelough Anix Tunnel found to the west of Consecrated Snowfield.
  • Requirements
    • Intelligence: 55 Level
    • FP Cost: 60 (12)
    • Stamina Cost: 40
    • Note that this Sorcery Spell uses two slots

Rock Sling

Lastly, the Rock Sling is the simplest Gravity Sorcery spells out of all. You can cast this spell to summon three rocks under the earth and send them flying. You can use the Rock Sling spell to clear out the NPC Invaders across the Lands Between.

  • Location: Found inside the chest in the underground cellar to the north of the Street of Sages Ruins. You can find several Servant of Rot enemies at this location.
  • Requirements
    • Intelligence: 18 Level
    • FP Cost: 18
    • Stamina Cost: 29

What is the Best Gravity Spell in Elden Ring?

The best Gravity sorcery spell is arguably the Meteorite of Astel. Being the Gravity sorceries in Elden Ring, you can use the Meteorite Staff to enhance its damage output. You can use this spell to take down dragon bosses like Dragonlord Placidusax, Glintstone Dragon Adula, Glintstone Smarag, and Glinstone Dragon. However, there are some drawbacks to casting this Sorcery spell. As its casting time is extremely slow, you can use this spell only for long-ranged combat. But you can use the Radagon’s Icon to shorten this casting time.

In my opinion, you can also go for the Gravity well or the Meteorite which consumes your FP and Stamina lesser than the Meteorite of Astel. But we leave the rest of the decision to you.
