To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is going to get Mario Items. Yes, you read that right! Your favorite game is going to get some Super Mario themed furniture that you can get your hands on. If you are wondering when do you get these Mario items in ACNH, we will share everything that we know in this quick guide.
Mario Items in Animal Crossing New Horizons
During the Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct, Nintendo announced the crossover between two hugely popular and loved games. Players are pumped to get these special items but when will you get the Animal Crossing New Horizons Mario Items? Well, not very soon. You need to have some patience because this furniture will be added in March 2021. It seems (and is) too far away but there’s nothing much we can do about it. Players are speculating that the release date could be MAR10 (March 10, 2021) due to the obvious Mario reference in the date.
Apart from this information, nothing else has been revealed. We don’t know how the Animal Crossing New Horizons Mario Items look like but it is not the first time this crossover has happened. The series has always given a nod to Mario through special items and here’s how they looked in Animal Crossing: City Folk:
Sometimes, these furniture items were given through special events and in New Leaf, they were given through Fortune Cookies that you could buy. I have a feeling that New Horizons will also have a special task that you have to complete in order to earn these Mario items.
