Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Complete A Feast to Remember Quest
A Feast to Remember quest consists of four tasks that you need to complete. These four tasks are:
- Locate Suttungr
- Locate Gunlodr and answer her riddles
- Empty the Cauldron
- Defeat Suttungr
We will be walking you through completing each of these objectives to ultimately complete A Feast to Remember quest in the Jotunheim arc.
AC Valhalla: How to Locate Suttungr
You will find Suttungr in Utgard. It is a distrust area, so stay low and avoid any attention. The best way to get to him is by taking the icy cliffs route to the left of the village. Once on the icy cliffs, you can use Raven’s sight to locate Suttungr. He is a huge guy standing outside a house on the cliffs. Mark the location while in Raven mode and head there to interact with him. After interacting with him, the next thing is to locate Gunlodr and interact with her.
AC Valhalla: How to Find Gunlodr
You will have to break the illusion spell to find Gunlodr in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Her location will be marked on the map. It is similar to finding and speaking with Angrboda in Jotunheim to complete the Mistress of Iron Wood quest. All you need to do is simply follow the marker to first get to the location.
Once at the marked location, you will find a stone circle where you have to break the illusion spell. To do this, find two deer skulls located adjacent to each other. Walk and get past between the skulls to locate Gunlodr’s grotto. The stone circle will open when you pass the deer skulls. Now, head down the stairs and you will find Gunlodr. Interact with her and accompany her to the feast, where the actual task begins. But before entering the feast, you will have to solve her riddles. Find below the answers to all her tricky riddles.
AC Valhalla Gunlodr Riddles Answers
- First Riddle: Would that I had now what I had yesterday. Find out what that was. Mankind it mars, speech it hinders, yet speech it will inspire.
Answer: Ale
- Second Riddle: Who is that shrill one who rides a hard road and has fared that way before? He kisses hard who has two mouths and goes only on gold.
Answer: Hammer
- Third Riddle: White-haired women, servants two, bore ale-tub to the larder. No hand turned it, nor hammer beat it. But there, outside the islands, the upright one who made it.
Answer: Swans and eggs
Gunlodr’s riddles and their answers don’t really have any impact on the gameplay. Hence, it is absolutely fine, if you have already given wrong answers to these riddles. AC Valhalla: How to Empty Cauldron
To empty the cauldron in for completing the A Feast to Remember quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will have to complete a few side tasks. Achieving each objective will empty the cauldron. You will get these tasks by following the quest markers across the room during the feast. Simply follow the markers and interact with the NPCs there to begin the side tasks. The tasks that you will have to complete include:
- A drunken archery contest
- A fighting competition
- Jumping into a cauldron of mead to retrieve a stolen harp for the musicians
Once all these tasks are completed, the cauldron will be completely empty. Now, Suttungr will ask you to get more meads and another quest marker will show up. Follow the marker to reach a huge vault where you will find Gunlodr. Interact with her, and choose an option with the hearts. After interacting with her, head down the hallway shortly ahead of her location to find the mead.
When you collect the mead and try to leave, Suttungr and Loki will stop you from doing so. This will lead to a heated conversation and further to a boss fight with Suttungr.
AC Valhalla: How to Defeat Suttungr
Parrying and dodging are the keys to defeat Suttungr in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Also, he has a few weak spots on his left leg, right arm, and the middle of his stomach. Hit on these spots to deal more damage and end this fight quickly. He will become more stronger and fierce when you deplete half of his HP. But, you can still defeat him with the same method.
