Electronic Arts will officially announce today the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, however, the Japanese store has revealed the most important information now. The release date of the game is also leaked which suggests the title will launch on November 6, 2020.

The refreshed version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be available in both boxed and digital versions. The package will offer all the DLC, as well as an additional six hours of gameplay. In addition, the game will feature over 30 challenges and cross-platform multiplayer support.

This official communication comes days after @Renka_schedule leaked the supposed cover image of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, in addition to some screenshots (as can be seen above).

In addition, this 2020 marks ten years since the premiere of this installment of the last generation of consoles and could fill the gap between an already abandoned NFS Heat and the future Need For Speed for the new generation of consoles that is supposed to be in development at Criterion Games.

According to the leak, Stellar Entertainment, the creators of the refreshed version of Burnout Paradise, is responsible for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. All platforms are yet to be confirmed, but apparently, the game is headed for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

In recent news, NFS: Hot Pursuit Remastered was also rated by Korea, so its presence seems imminent.
