The best part about Destiny 2 is its recurring and new DLC expansions. The annual Festival of Lost is finally out with the coolest space grandma, Eva Levante returning for the event. It has several elements from the last year including the introductory activity, Gone but not Forgotten. With the spooky season of Halloween already in motion, there couldn’t be a more suitable time. But as players progress into the quest, they are unable to get past this quest. Is it due to a bug? Destiny 2 Gone But Not Forgotten Quest Bug (Explained)
There are several reports around the community that this particular quest is bugged. Due to this quest bug, players are unable to complete and progress the questline. The Gone but not Forgotten activity involves collecting the Spectral pages and turning them into Manifest pages. But as players do so, their gathered Spectral pages go missing. So, players have to start with the quest again.
This issue has been acknowledged by the Bungie team on their Twitter support page. Recently, they stated that a fix has been implemented to address an issue where some players could not convert Spectral Pages into Manifest pages.
How to Complete the Gone But Not Forgotten Quest
Follow the below steps to complete the quest:
- Speak to Eva Levante and get the Festival of the Lost mask.
- As you speak to her in the Tower, she will offer several Master Rahool-inspired masks. You can choose one of these masks to progress into the quest.
- You need to equip the Festival of Lost Mask from the Inventory. You can find this mask in the Helmet section.
- Once you have acquired the mask, head over to the Tower and interact with Eva. She will give you one Spectral page.
- Now, head over to the Haunted Sector from the Directory.
- You need to complete the Summoning Ritual at the Haunted Sector. For that, you need to stand on the Summoning Ritual until the cooldown completes.
- This lasts for 5 minutes and you need to stand your ground before it completes. As you go through the ritual, you have to summon 10 Headless Ones.
- You can either wait for 5 minutes or slay the 10 Headless Ones to complete the Haunted Sector.
- Once you have completed the Sector, head back to Eva and interact with her. Over there, head to the Altar to the right of Eva where you will find the Book of Forgotten.
- You need to combine all the collected Spectral Pages to make a single Manifested Page. Lastly, you can speak to Eva to claim your rewards.
Unfortunately, players are stuck on the last step wherein they cannot find their Spectral pages. We hope that Bungie resolves this quest bug as soon as possible.
